Where can you hear of the inspirations behind the creation of well-known sneakers that have dropped in the past AND actually see displays of these hard-to-cop kicks? Sneaker Con - a place for sneaker heads to get together, network and showcase recent collaborations between brands as well as talk of possible future collaborations to come.
Sneaker Con has grown over the years to attract one of the largest congregations of sneaker heads all under one roof, ranging from first-time fathers who have been collecting sneakers since they've been teenagers to pre-teens just getting into sneakers for the first time. There is something beautiful and special in the sneaker community when sneaker game knowledge and enthusiasm is passed on in a cycle from the old to the young. The convention automatically becomes more than just a place to buy and sell sneakers; a greater purpose is served - it becomes a time and place to nourish and keep this sneaker culture alive.
This year, Sneaker Con has returned back to its birthplace, New York City, at Pier 94 to round up all the sneaker heads once more. Check out the video recaps below:
