The visvim sensei Hiroki Nakamura has once again worked his magic and has truly outdone himself this time around by crafting this creation to life.
This kimono x bomber jacket right here is simply the most beautiful blend of the Japanese rural silhouette in the kimono with contemporary urban outerwear styling in this year's hottest military MA-1 flight bomber jacket look.
Usually not a big fan of hybrids as it often strays too far away from the essence of the silhouettes being used as a blend, this is done so right with so much attention to detail that I'm left utterly speechless.
Let me first start off by saying that they're each intricately handmade and individually natural-dyed. We then go into the intricate care in crafting the specific details that go into this piece: the contrast kimono collar; zippered-sleeve pocket; two front snap-button pockets; hand-stitched bottom trim detailing; and 100% feathered white goose down-filling to keep it light, yet warm.
Truly remarkable. Simply a unicorn outerwear piece.
Now if only I have $2500 on hand to freely spend on this...
