What do magazine covers have this say about the views our society holds? Is this evidence of our society making more forward progress towards greater representation of minority groups or stronger trends towards a more sexualized society?
We are all entitled to our own opinion - that remains a strong theme of today's society - individualism and fighting for one's freedom of speech. However, no matter how you see it, there is little doubt we are no longer the same society as we were 100 years ago.
PS. This is why I will always appreciate the New Yorker and why I personally believe they will always remain so iconic - staying true to their guns regardless of how much marketing tactics have impacted our society to change over time.
