Frank & Oak Fall Favorites

POP! POP! POP!

In light of the recent opening of the Frank & Oak pop-up on 267 Queen Street West, I was able to "pop" on by to check out pieces from their new collaboration with Toronto FC as well as from their Fall collection.

Although I found some of their "limited edition" TFC pieces a little underwhelming (with the exception of the first piece seen above), some of the items they have out in their Fall collection really deserve some applause and recognition. Although the amount of items showcased was small in number, the quality of the sample size really did the job to peak my interest to see more. For one, their commitment to quality in their pieces could could undeniably be felt by the touch and the cutting of their casual shirts, sweaters/knitwear and blazers were all exceptional.

For those who have never heard of this Montreal online based brand, they are really making a statement in today's menswear as a leading Canadian-based supplier of high quality goods at a reasonable price range (hence the in-house design, without the need for middleman markups).

Beginning as childhood friends, founders Ethan Song and Hicham Ratnani, have really done a great job in first building a strong online following as a fashion start-up, then slowly moving on to set up their first shop in the St. Viateur neighborhood of their hometown Montreal, and building on that momentum, expanding on their identity to become a lifestyle brand. The store's roots and inspiration lie invested in providing premium quality goods for men who want hassle-free shopping, but also in building a strong community of like-minded individuals who are not only thinkers with a spirit of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, but transformers of a social movement.

Word on the street is that they are looking to set up a permanent brick & mortar shop in the downtown Toronto area very soon! Perhaps this pop-up is a taste of what's to come?

So far this is all speculation, but don't be the one to miss out! If you're in the GTA, go check out their pop-up ASAP from now till Saturday, October 25th.
