Similar to last summer's drop of the Free Mercurial Superfly HTM and today's release of the upcoming non-HTM version of the Navy Free Mercurial Superfly, the Nike Lab has once more surprised the masses by combining it's innovative Nike football boot technology to an every-day lifestyle sneaker - giving birth to the Nike Air Footscape Magista.This latest mash-up combines the sleek, engineered-knit-textured material used in the upper of the Nike Magista football boot, as seen worn by the superstars in the World Cup, along with the adequate support from the mid-sole well-loved by those wearing Nike Free sneakers on the daily.
Blending positives in the areas of stretchiness (comparable to the comfortability of a sock) and high breathability of the Magista boot, the upper also features the latest Nikeskin technology that boasts an all-weather condition exterior that will not only snug closely to your feet for added support but will more importantly, keep them warm and dry. The Nikeskin also acts as a thin second-layer to your body, due to its one-piece construction, in order to mimic the all-natural feel of not wearing any shoes.
The out-sole offers Nike's latest natural motion tooling technology, Air Footscape Freemotion, which serves to replicate the natural curve of the human foot, in hopes of giving the user complete freedom of movement and thus, enhanced flexibility. The heel of this shoe acts as a subtle, focal feature of this fashion-tech experiment. By using a specific leather heel counter along with an encapsulated air-sole unit, these features serve to further juxtapose the materials used for the sneaker as well as to provide increased cushioning to the individual wearing the sneaker.

The first Nike Air Footscape Magista SB collection offers the classic all-white (my go-to pick), black and aqua blue color-ways.
This collection is now available to all in Western Europe, China and Japan. Those living in North America will have to patiently wait for the release on February 15, 2015.
