Telling the story behind the origins of the Chanel jacket (click here to watch Lagerfeld give an inside look at the cornerstone jacket of Chanel), the story follows Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's encounter with the young lift-boy at a Salzburg hotel while she was on holidays in 1954. Lagerfeld wishes to recreate this chapter in Chanel's life by retelling the story of a lift attendant's jacket being "reincarnated" as a timeless piece of womens-wear.
