Felt a sudden inkling to revisit the creative design project DONDA did in preparation for Kanye West's last solo tour, the YEEZUS TOUR. For those in Vancouver who were greatly 808's and heartbroken (twice!) by Kanye's untimely concert dismissals, this concert was highly anticipated by many for his theatrics and artistic imagery. Hence, the YEEZUS tour stood as an interesting creative direction for DONDA to tackle.
Having worked with the likes of adidas, Jeremy Scott, and numerous other GOOD MUSIC artists, the creative agency DONDA (led by the creative director+graphic artist Joe Perez) is no stranger to shock-value designs or bold marketing approaches. And their collaboration with the YEEZUS Tour merchandise (and retail brand PACSUN) proves to be no other.
I think DONDA definitely stood out with this project by creating some classic tour/band tees that actually go very well with a dressed-down, yet stylish look with a pair of ripped jeans and suede boots/sneakers (for the guys) or minimal heels (for the girls).
The MAJOR KEY here is to keep the other pieces to your outfit simple and unassuming, so that the tee becomes the central piece of the look.

By far, hands down, my favorites have to be from his Las Vegas tour.
Buying one online now would require a little more hunting around cause there are few to little by now - since it has already been a little over a year past! How fast time flies... (But be sure to also watch out for the fakes. Just a word of caution!)
